Smithers Apex's Image Sensors Conferences

Image Sensors was set up and held its first conference in 2007 and has since grown to be the key annual Image Sensors technical and business conference in Europe.

Image Sensors attracts a wide range of companies from across the digital imaging supply chain. From end users in all the main applications to camera system suppliers, sensor design houses and technology developers, optics suppliers, chip foundries, as well as testing, calibration and other peripheral services. This event focuses on technical aspects of image sensors, placing the innovations and technology in a business context.

Together, Image Sensors, IS Auto, IS Americas and IS Auto US unite globally recognised experts from across the digital imaging supply chain for high calibre discussions and face-to-face networking opportunities that you will not find in any other event in the market. Building on the success of 2015, the programme is in production and we are proud to have some of the world’s foremost experts on the Programme Committee for this event.

What did past attendees have to say about the Image Sensors conferences?

This was my first time at Image Sensors, but I was very impressed with the calibre of attendees, and the range of high-quality content and discussion made for an excellent forum. A thoroughly enjoyable and valuable experience and this certainly won't be the last time I attend.

Jim Lewis, CEO, MESA Imaging

Nice line up of high quality presentations. Good environment to network with the large imaging community

G. Burns, Intel

Excellent networking experience. Opportunity to meet companies we never achieved contact with before.

J McGaffney, Sony

I like this conference, it's a good mix of technical content with business-focussed presentations, and the audience always has a good spread across R&D and management. I am delighted to return to deliver the opening Keynote presentation, and I'm sure I'll be back at Image Sensors again in the future.

Dr Howard Rhodes, CTO, Omnivision

Organised very well, great venue, an education for everyone at any level of understanding.

Daniel Donabedian, Ziptronix
