    Tsuyoshi Hara is the Automotive Solution Architect at SONY electronics.

    After graduating from Chuo University in Tokyo Japan, Tsuyoshi started his career at SONY Japan in 2004 as an analog circuit designer, designing on-chip column ADCs and peripheral circuits. Over years, Tsuyoshi has spearheaded the development and deployment of industry leading sensors across different application areas like DSC, D-SLR, surveillance, mobile and automotive. In summer 2018 Tsuyoshi relocated to Bay area and he is leading the next-generation product definition and product roadmap for automotive sensing applications. Tsuyoshi is Sony’s internal expert in the functional and operational safety of automotive sensors and is AFSP certified.

    Steve Vozar, PhD, is Co-Founder and CTO of May Mobility. Prior to founding May, Dr. Vozar was a Research Fellow with the APRIL laboratory at the University of Michigan, contributing to projects including Ford’s next-generation vehicle thrust and the DARPA Squad X core technologies program. Steve has previously worked at Johns Hopkins University, developing tele-robotic satellite servicing technology in collaboration with NASA. Steve was named a Human-Robot Interaction Pioneer (2012) for his PhD work on tele-robotic mobile manipulation. Steve also co-founded and acted as VP of Technology for Absolute Nano, a university spin-off developing instruments for nanomaterials research, which won a 2009 R&D 100 Award.

    John Wheatley is a Division Scientist in the Display Materials & Systems Division of 3M Company where his responsibilities include new platform development, intellectual property, and strategic planning relating to optical technologies.  He is an inventor on over 100 US patents relating to optical materials and systems.  He is located at 3M Center in St. Paul, Minnesota.
