Image Sensors 2014 received the best ever feedback

Image Sensors 2014 exceeded all expectations, with over 220 attendees, from 128 companies and 21 countries.

98% said the experience was excellent and above averageImage Sensors 2014 brought the biggest discussion to date on the latest image sensor technology and news

A special thanks to both of the audience and Chairmen - Lindsay Grant, STMicroelectronics and Jan Bosiers, Teledyne DALSA for helping to create another successful Image Sensors event, giving all involved a conference to remember. The conference was an engaging, interactive environment with extensive discussion and a significant number of new faces.

We would like to thank all this year's Sponsors and Exhibitors who attended and have supported this year's Image Sensors, all were able to network with over 220 attendees and gain exclusive brand exposure. In particular we' d like to thank our lead sponsor LFoundry, who hosted a memorable drinks reception at the Altitude 360' Lounge.

A note from Image Sensors conference producer, Rob Stead

"I had been looking forward to Image Sensors 2014 since the start of the year, and the experience didn't disappoint. I felt the programme was as good as ever, and a real sense of excitement as the audience grew beyond 200 attendees for the first time. Onsite, everything ran smoothly, but it was the level of feedback that pleased me most.

Over the last 8 years, Image Sensors has grown from a technical event of around 80 attended mainly by engineers. In 2014, the delegate list is the Who's Who of the digital imaging world and we are very proud of this achievement.

It couldn't have been done without the help of the Chairmen and Programme Committee as well as other peripheral figures who have advised and help connect me over the years, so I'd like to extend a personal thanks to them.

In terms of highlights, I honestly think every single speaker did a great job and the diversity and quality was reflected in the feedback. However, the stand out presentation had to be the closing Keynote from Prof Peter Seitz. Those who missed it missed out, it was an incisive presentation delivered with charisma, humour, skill and expert insight, a real treat for all in attendance.

I could ramble on longer, but I know you are all busy. As am I, closing out the agenda for Image Sensors Auto 2014 - the final agenda will be announced next week. Watch this space for that, and more news on Image Sensors Americas 2014 over the next few months.

And most of all, thanks for being a part of Image Sensors 2014!"
